Govt’s employment policy mockery with youth: Manohar

Excelsior Correspondent
KATHUA, Apr 28:   Former Minister and PCC general secretary Dr Manohar Lal Sharma has expressed serious concern over the betrayal of BJP with the people of J&K over  the  employment policy which is a mockery with educated unemployed  youth of the State.
In a press statement, Dr Sharma alleged that BJP always exploited the sentiments of youths  by making false promises  every time particularly in elections but practically they did nothing and their  real face is exposed.  He strongly criticized the new employment policy and termed the recent  decision of BJP- PDP Government  as anti-educated unemployed youth.
The unemployed youth, are already  suffering a lot due to the militancy and disturbance in the State for more than two decades. This is a mockery with the youth to engage them temporally/contractually for seven years both in Gazetted and non-Gazetted cadre.
It is again unfortunate that the recruitment in J&K police is also being changed by the present Coalition Government.  This policy is totally wrong and will boost corruption/favoritism in all columns of Government.
Dr Sharma fully supported the genuine demand of  over 8000 agitating teachers engaged on contractual basis for their regularization as already done by the previous Government in the year 2010. There are thousands of vacancies of the teachers lying vacant in every district of  State and students are suffering due to the lack of teaching staff in the Government schools so there is no harm rather a good step to regularize the teachers to overcome the shortage of teaching staff in the Government schools, if the Government is sincere to the betterment of education and society.
