SRINAGAR, Apr 28: A recruitment rally was organized under the aegis of Army of Dagger Division at Baramulla to fill in 251 vacancies of Territorial Army.
The recruitment rally witnessed an attendance of approximate strength of 2800 from tehsils of Rohama, Sopore, Mohara, Safapora, Gulmarg, Bandipora, Langate, Sonawari, Magam, Uri, Pattan, Aloosa, Watergam and Dangiwacha.
The screening of candidates included 1.6km run, pull-ups and 9 feet ditch followed by medical examination. Many youth were found physically as well as medically fit and the results would be declared after the completion of recruitment process of all the districts.
“The process was fair and merit oriented and there was no partiality” said an enthusiastic youth who has cleared various rounds of tests.
