Luthra College organizes educational, cultural, recreational activities

JAMMU, Apr 30: Luthra College of Education organized CCA Week in the College premises, under the guidance of Principal, Vijay Laxmi, here.
The educational, cultural and recreational activities included essay writing competition, debate, rangoli, mehandi, singing and dance competition.
To save the environment from pollutants, College also organized best out of waste competition.
The activities were adjudged by Sr. Lecturers of the College namely Kiran Khajuria, Upasana Sharma and Seema Jamwal.
The cultural programme was initiated with Saraswati Vandana performed by group of students.
Ladakhi group dance, Punjabi group dance, solo dance, solo song performance and Dogri folk dance items enthralled the audience on the occasion.
The Chairman of the College, Rajiv Luthra impressed upon the students to participate in these activities as mere academic education is not enough today. Certificates were also distributed among the deserving students.
The vote of thanks was presented by Seema Jamwal, staff representative of the College.
