Compensation, Govt job demanded for Nepal quake victims’ families

JAMMU, Apr 30: Various Sikh organizations today held a meeting and demanded compensation and Government job for the family members of Nepal quake victims hailing from Simbal Morh.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh, organizer, Bhai Kanahiya Jee Nishkam Seva Society.
During the meeting, the participants appealed the Government to pay compensation of Rs 20 lakh in favour of Sujan Singh’s family, who died in Nepal quake along with his son Parvinder Singh. They also demanded Government job to one member of victim’s family.
Among others present were Avtar Singh Khalsa, general secretary, Sikh United Front, Paramjit Singh, president, AISSF, Gajjan Singh, general secretary, Sikh Welfare Society, Kulwant Singh, chief advisor, Sikh Naujawan Sabha, Ramnik Singh Bijral, Raja Singh, Manmohan Singh, etc.
