JAMMU, May 1: A 25-year-old youth today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Marh area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Jinda son of Chaman Lal, a resident of Halka Marh consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was shifted to a nearby Government Hospital. However, in view of his serious condition, the doctors referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
