JAMMU, May 3: An Army Jawan of 4 Rajasthan Rifles, Miran Sahib, died today in mysterious circumstances at his family quarters in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the Jawan identified as Sanjeev Kumar was immediately rushed to Military Hospital (MH), Satwari, when his health suddenly deteriorated and he fell unconscious at his quarters in Miran Sahib.
However, the doctors at MH Satwari declared the Jawan as brought dead. Later the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting postmortem the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
