Only separate homeland will address core issues: PK

JAMMU, May 5:  Panun Kashmir (PK) has congratulated the KP youth and the community members who declared the community agenda on return to Kashmir at the Jantar Mantar on  May 3 by tremendously mobilizing the people from all over the country and making New Delhi reverberate with the slogans of Homeland demand, making it clear that KPs won’t accept anything less than separate Homeland with UT status in Kashmir.
Addressing the core group and Panun Kashmir activists ,Vijay Bhat, President, Panun Kashmir said,“the young brave hearts of Panun Kashmir should be congratulated  for galvanizing the community towards one demand that  is separate Homeland with UT status in Kashmir as envisaged in the Margdarshan Resolution in 1991.The people who tried to  impose the agenda of trivializing the religious cleansing of KP by the communal Islamic Jihadis of Kashmir have  been defeated by the show of strength by young KP  activists who upheld the Margdarshan resolution and sent a clear message across the globe and the nation that any formula  which  does not  address the core issue of KP genocide will be rejected lock, stock and barrel by the KP community.
It is the high time that Government of India takes note of the ground reality and shuns the policy of subjecting the  KPs in the servitude of its persecutors. Only constitutional guarantees   within the separate homeland will address the core issue of our genocide and holocaust.”
Warning the Government of India on imposing any pseudo committee or policy on Kashmiri Pandits, Vijay Bhat said, ”Panun Kashmir makes it amply clear that  any group or committee that does not include the real representatives of the Kashmiri Pandits  will back fire. Community is watching every development with caution .No committee or policy will be acceptable to KPs that does not include the terms of reference as demarcated by the Margdarshan Resolution of 91 envisaging a separate Homeland for KPs on the North and East of river Vitasta (Jhelum) in Kashmir.
Panun Kashmir emphasized that in the present situation when security situation and social milieu in Kashmir is Talibanised only separate Homeland for the Kashmiri Pandits in Valley of Kashmir is the solution to guarantee any future resettlement of the Kashmiri Pandit community.”
