JAMMU, May 5: Siddhant Cricket Academy and Evershine Cricket Club scripted resounding victories over their rivals in the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here today.
In the first match, Siddhant Cricket Academy defeated Jammu Tawi Sports Club by 7 wickets. Batting first, Jammu Tawi Sports Club scored a modest total of 109 runs in 17.2 overs. Vishal (27) and Surinder (21) were the main scorers. For Siddhant Academy, Pankaj and Deepesh took 4 wickets each.
In reply, Siddhant Academy chased the target in 18.3 overs by losing 3 wickets to win the match by 7 wickets. Abhishek was the top scorer with 34 runs, while Pankaj and Aryan contributed 21 and 14 runs to the total respectively. For Jammu Tawi Club, Surinder took 2 wickets, while Banu claimed one. Pankaj was declared as man of the match.
In another match, Evershine Cricket Club defeated Vilas Reality Pvt Ltd by 7 wickets. Vilas Reality scored 104 runs in 17.4 overs, with Ankush contributing 40 runs to the total. For Evershine, Arif was the pick of the bowlers, who scalped 4 important wickets.
In reply, Evershine Cricket Club, Satwari, scored the required runs in 12. 2 overs. Deeraj top scored with 48 runs and was declared as man of the match.
