JAMMU, May 5: KV Damana celebrated its Annual Day function 2015 at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here today.
Ajeet Kumar Sahu, DC Jammu and Chairman VMC was the chief guest on the occasion, while DR Meena, AC (KVS) JR was the guest of honour.
Principals of neighbouring KVs, faculty members , parents and students were present on the occasion.
Principal of the Vidyalaya, CR Bhagat presented welcome address and presented annual report of the School. He highlighted the achievements of the students in various academic and co-curricular activities.
The chief guest inaugurated the function by lighting the traditional lamp.
Students of the School presented a colourful cultural programme including Saraswati Vandana, Swagatgeet, Western dance, Dogri dance and a skit on Army life.
The chief guest, Mr Sahu lauded the efforts of the students for presenting a fabulous show.
Jagdish Raj presented the vote of thanks, while the programme came to an end with beautiful ‘bhangra’ performance.
