JAMMU, May 7: With a view to promote Indo-Maltese cooperation in the field of education, the University of Malta in association with the High Commission of Malta in India, is taking a delegation of 20 students and teachers from different Schools of India to Malta from May 9 to May 16, 2015.
The students would be attending an academic programme related to the field of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation to be delivered by the renowned faculty of Edward De Bono Institute of the Design and Development of Thinking at the University of Malta.
During the programme, the students would get an opportunity to learn various tools and techniques that would enable them to broaden their perception, generate creative ideas, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, critically analyze information, foster innovation and design strategies for better future.
In addition, students would also get an opportunity to interact with the faculty and the senior officials of the University and other Government Departments , besides some magnificent sightseeing and other thrilling experiences.
The visit, simply has been designed to meet the objective of learning, relationship building and exploration.
Five students of KC Public School led by Tamana Pandohi, PGT (English) are leaving Jammu on May 8 as members of the delegation. They will be joined by the other members of the delegation from all over India and leave Delhi for Malta on morning of May 9. The KCean student members of the delegation from classes IX and X are Manvi Gupta, Shreya Mohan, Sahar Rohmetra, Yatiksha Tandon and Aryaman Suri.
Ina a special morning assembly to bid them Bon Voyage, Mrs Pandohi briefly apprised the assembly about the objectives of the delegation and as to how the experience would impact student members from KC Public School.
Principal of the School, Amarendra Kumar Mishra on behalf of the School fraternity wished the delegation a successful and enjoyable trip.
