JAMMU, May 8: A deputation of citizens today called on SSP Traffic Jammu Mohan Lal and held detailed discussions with him on streamlining traffic system in the City and outskirts.
Led by Som Raj Taroch, the deputation discussed with the SSP Traffic the huge jams being witnessed at various parts of the City and steps required to ease traffic congestion.
Mohan Lal assured the citizens that the Traffic Police was taking various initiatives to discipline traffic in the City and ensure that there were no frequent jams. He called upon the citizens to mobilize the people and advise them to strictly adhere to Traffic Police guidelines.
The citizens assured their full cooperation to the SSP Traffic in implementing the guidelines.
