JAMMU, May 9: 5th District Jammu Rope Skipping Championship concluded at Baby Caterers Hall, Rehari, here.
The Championship was organized by J&K Rope Skipping Association.
Kanta Bhan, Vice President Pradesh Congress Committee was the chief guest while Subhash Sharma, president J&K Rope Skipping Association was the guest of honour. Shakti Dutta and Tarsem Sharma were also present on the occasion.
The Championship was conducted under the overall supervision of Rajesh Kumar, organizing secretary and Akshit Ghai, Tournament Incharge.
Around 150 students participated in the Championship.
The gold medals in Under-11 boys went to Astitiv Sharma, Sushank Sharma, Umar Dar, Kosar Chandpurt, Faisal Ahmed and Shatij, while the gold medals in Under-11 girls were bagged by Vidhi Santhal, Sudiksha Sharma, Jassica Singh and Sudiksha.
The gold medals in Under-14 boys were clinched by Aditya Sharma, Jeevan Sagar, Harsh Bhardwaj, Saksham Takyal and others, while in Under-14 girls, the gold medals went to Rashmi Sharma, Sudiksha and Pallavi Verma etc.
