SRINAGAR, May 10:
A Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police personnel was charred to death while two others were injured in a fire incident in Kupwara district.
Official sources here today said fire broke out in a barrack of J&K Armed Police Camp at Wayan in Kupwara district. Fire tenders from different parts of Kupwara and neighbouring districts were rushed to spot to control the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance.
However, before the fire was doused off, a policeman, identified as Mohammad Yaqub Magra, was charred to death while two others received injuries. The injured were immediately taken to hospital, they said. (UNI)
