JAMMU, May 13: The faculty members of The Business School (TBS), University of Jammu today organized felicitation function-cum-interactive session in order to felicitate the Vice Chancellor of Varsity Prof RD Sharma.
The function was attended by all the faculty members along with the Former Heads, Deans and senior faculty members of TBS who have superannuated but are an integral part of TBS fraternity.
While speaking, VC recalled his association with the TBS, the team spirit and team work towards institution building and the strengthening of the discipline of commerce and management.
Prof Versha Mehta, Director, TBS delivered the welcome address. Dr Anil Gupta outlined the achievements of Prof R D Sharma.
Prof MR Rana, Prof JR Dhotra and Prof KK Arora also shared their experiences and fond memories of yester years and their experiences of working with each other in the spirit of kinship, team work and team spirit with the sense of commitment and dedication.
Later, Prof RD Sharma, Vice Chancellor, JU presented mementoes as a mark of respect to Prof MR Rana, Prof JR Dhotra and Prof KK Arora for their services to the School.
Prof Keshav Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies on behalf of the faculty of TBS assured full support to the Vice-Chancellor and also recalled the support and guidance he received from Prof RD Sharma and the other senior faculties from time to time.
Prof Keshav Sharma, Prof Neelu Rohmetra, Prof Versha Mehta, Prof BC Sharma, Prof Alka Sharma and other faculty members were also present.
