REASI, May 13: BJP MLA Advocate Ajay Nanda toured Ward Number 1, 2 and 3 of the city and listened to the problems being faced by the residents.
Officials of Municipal Committee, PDD, social and political activists and people hailing from all walks of life accompanied the MLA during his visit.
Nanda said there is a dire need of covering and construction of drains and nallahs in the area.
He said that a clean and conducive atmosphere should prevail everywhere so that people could live healthy lives and such condition in the area will be dealt by the concerned department soon and the work of drains and nallah should be completed in stipulated time.
He also directed the officials to look into the matter on priority and start the works as soon as possible so that the basic demands of the public could be met.
Nanda also urged the people to promote the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” in their areas so as to build a neat and clean Nation.
EO Municipal Committee Rattan Lal, AEE PDD Ajay Pal Singh, JE Vishwakarma, JE Sahil Kesar, Sheel Magotra, Ankush Nargotra, Neshu, Chaman Bhagat, Surinder, besides many others were present on the occasion.
