KC blanks GD Goenka as MHAC Nagbani, KB Public win ties in U-14 boys’ football

JAMMU, May 13: KC Public School blanked GD Goenka by six goals to nil (6-0), while MHAC Nagbani and KB Public School outplayed their opponents in Under-14 boys football of the ongoing District Level Inter-School Under-14 and Under-17 boys football tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, here today.
In the first match, MHAC Nagbani got better of BSF Paloura by three goals to two (3-2) via tie-breaker. For MHAC, Rahul, Manjit and Vishal were the goal scorers, while for BSF Paloura, Gulshan and Sajad were the goal scorers.
In another Under-14 boys  match, KC Pubic School thrashed GD Goenka by six goals to nil (6-0), with Aditya Jasrotia scoring 3 goals and Ali Khan, Ashiq and Kunal netted one goal each.
In the third match of Under-14 boys category, KB Public School scripted a solitary goal win over Jodhamal Public School in a tough competition. Azhar was the goal scorer.
Meanwhile in Under-17 boys category, St Francis School defeated GD Goenka by three goals to one via tie breaker. Sourav Kumar, Abhishek and Vishal netted one goal each for St Francis School, while Gourav was the goal scorer for GD Goenka School.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Agarwal.
Additional District Development Commissioner, KS Parihar was the chief guest in today’s proceedings. He accompanied by Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu, Rishi Kumar and District Youth Services and Sports, Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
The matches were officiated by Ajay Kumar, Bharat Bhushan, Rohit, Varinder, Gurbhachan Singh, Amolak Singh, Mahadev, Jyoti and Ravinder Singh.
