Players display skill, composure on day-2 of Wushu Championship

JAMMU, May 13: Players displayed skill, composure and showed promise to win bouts on the second day of the 11th State Wushu Championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Wushu Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
The boys and girls of district Bandipora displayed extraordinary skills to clinch gold medals in the sub junior category.
In Under-7 Boys 15 Kg;  Sunny  (S.D.K.V), Govind Joshi  (AOW,  Varun Sharma (S.D.K.V) and  Basit Majeed (ANT) won medals, while in  Under-7 Boys 18 Kg, Danish Sharma (S.D.K.V), Ridham  Sharma (S.D.K.V), Vineet Mahajan  (R.H) and Dinesh Mahajan (Rajouri) emerged winners.
In Under-7 Boys 20 Kg,  Lakash (R.H), Ishaan (R.H), Garvit Jamwal (R.H) and  Dhruv Sodi  (S.D.K.V) got the medals, while in  Under-7 (Boys) 24 Kg,  Murshat Bin (Udh),  Sunil Kumar  (Udh),  Kanaya (Udh) and Atul Sharma (R.H) bagged medals and in Under-7 (Boys) 28 Kg, Kunal Sapolia  (R.H),  Surya Partap Singh (AOW),  Vineet  Kumar (R.H) and Sumit Salgotra (RMPS) claimed the medals.
In Under-7 Boys 32 Kg,  Mohd Masim (Bandipora), Sarthak Sharma  (AOW),  Saheem (Sri.) and  Ridham Koushal (R.H) emerged winners, while in Under-9 Boys18 Kg,  Krish Thappa (R.H),  Archit Ratra (R.H), Rajat Choudhary (R.H) and  Anif (Ant) were the winners and in Under-9 Boys 20 Kg, Sahil  (S.D.K.V),  Akarshit  (RMPS),  Suvan Gupta  (Jdh) and Anmol (R.H) won medals.
In Under-9 Boys 22 Kg, Deepak Lalotra (BPS),  Mohit  (Udh), Aiyush  (R.H) and  Garvit Mahajan (Jdh) won medals, while in Under-9 Boys 24 Kg,  Akhil  (Udh),  Danish  (J.P),  Nikhil  (S.D.K.V) and  Shubam (Jdh) emerged winners.
