JAMMU, May 14: Inter-House Extempore Competition and Cooking without Fire Competition were held at Heritage School, here today.
The aim of these competitions was to provide a platform to students to showcase their talent in various fields and explore new areas of interest.
The students of classes VI to VIII offered a treat to eye as well as to taste buds through the competition ‘Cooking without Fire’.
The enthusiastic participants surprised everyone with their culinary talents by preparing dishes like fruit salad, sweet snacks, sandwiches etc. Tradition House bagged 1st position amongst students of Class VI, while Culture House was the winner amongst Class VII and VIII students.
While the students of Classes VI to VIII were busy displaying their culinary talents, students of Classes IX to XII were exhibiting their oratory skills in English Extempore Competition.
Shreya Sharma of Class XI won the 1st position, Ayushi Parmar of Class XI bagged 2nd position and 3rd position was bagged by Ojasvi of Class XI, Raghunandini Singh and Agrim Babbar of Class IX.
The Principal of Heritage School, Jagadish Singh Dhami lauded the efforts of the winners of the competition and complimented the teachers in-charge on the successful execution of the events.
