SRINAGAR, Aug 11: An elderly lady died while another person was injured in separate road accidents in Kashmir valley today.
Reports said that a vehicle bearing registration number JK05/1037 driven by Mohammad Amin Dar son of Abdullah Dar resident of Kakapora, Pulwama on way from Srinagar to Anantnag hit a pedestrian Taja Begum, wife of Ghulam Nabi resident of New Colony, Bijbehara at Sub District Hospital Bijbehara, Anantnag today resulting in her on spot death. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/4334 on way from Kupwara towards Sopore hit and injured Bashir Ahmed Sheikh, age 32 years, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Chwyan Lolab at Cement Bridge, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
