Jammu, May 15: A two members team of BJP Spokespersons from Jammu and Kashmir comprising of Balbir Ram Rattan and Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra attended one day National Media Workshop at party headquarters, New Delhi on the invitation of BJP National Secretary & National Media Incharge Shrikant Sharma.
This workshop was inaugurated by BJP National President Amit Shah in presence of National Spokespersons and was attended by party’s Spokespersons and Media Incharges from all the States.
The different sessions of this day long workshop were addressed by BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) Ram Lal, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment Thaber Chand Gehlot, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad and Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The Union Ministers highlighted the achievements of their respective Ministries and also spoke on different issues which needed to be understood properly and presented before the media in right perspective.
The Speakers said that the role of Spokespersons is very difficult and different than the other activists of the party and hence they need to be well acquainted with latest information of every issue and for that they must remain in regular touch of the newspapers and news channels as well as with party’s National Media Cell.
It was also directed to the Media Incharges that State level Media Workshops on the similar pattern must be organised in every State in coming days.
