DODA, May 16: MLA Doda, Shakti Raj Parihar today conducted series of Public grievances redressal camps at Dhara, Malwana, Ari, Chanta and Posta areas of the Doda district and listened to the problems and grievances of the people of the area.
Officers of District Administration, prominent citizens, representations of PRIs, Social organization and common masses were present in the camps.
Enroute from Doda to Dhara several Deputations from different areas met the MLA and raised various issues and demands which include the timely restoration of road connectivity, construction of Shiva Dal Bridge, water shortage, restoration of Irrigation canals, Shortage of staff in rural schools and other government institutions, un authorized absence of teachers from the schools , unscheduled Electric Power cuts, Excessive load on the existing transformers, availability of ration in CA&PD stores etc to which Parihar gave on spot directions to the concerned officers of District administration who accompanied him on the tour to redress these in phased manner.
Taking serious note of un authorized absence of the teachers posted in these rural areas and to develop an atmosphere of punctuality among the teachers in the schools MLA directed the ZEOs to suspend such non serious teachers besides monitoring the performance, punctuality and morality of the teacher posted in the Education Department.
Appreciating the work of certain teachers, Parihar said they are builders of the future and appealed them to bring innovations and develop a culture of quality education in the District .To bring the backward Siraj area on the map of area with quality education and to lift the poor people from economic hardships by giving quality education to their wards, the process for identification of land for the construction of Kendriya Vidayala at Jodhpur has been already started, MLA further added.
