DODA, May 19: District level Inter-Zonal tournament was today inaugurated by Additional Superintendent of Police Bhaderwah, Amit Bashin at GHSS Bhaderwah.
Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Bashier-ul-Hassan was the guest of honour on the occasion, while Principal Govt HSS Bhaderwah Ajit Kumar, senior lecturers and teachers were also present on the occasion.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Doda, S. R Kotwal informed that about 500 students from 10-zones are participating in the tournament in boys category in the discipline of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Wrestling. The first match in the discipline of Kabaddi was played between Doda zone and Bhalla in which Doda zone emerged as winner.
In Volleyball and Kho-Kho matches, Assar zone and Doda zone wins by beating Thathri zone and Assar zone respectively.
