SRINAGAR, May 19: The members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Science & Technology, Environment & Forests, headed by Ashwani Kumar, MP, are scheduled to visit Srinagar and Leh from May 24 to May 29.
During their stay in Srinagar, the members of the Committee would interact with NGOs, civil society organizations, Central and State Government authorities on the issues pertaining to flood forecasting, climate change, pollution control, relief and rehabilitation, agriculture, healthcare etc.
The Parliamentary Panel will hold separate media briefings in Srinagar on May 25 and in Leh on May 28.
