Scooterist held with illicit liquor

JAMMU, May 20: A scooterist was held along with large quantity of illicit liquor from Patoli area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per police sources, police team from Domana police station laid a naka near Patoli area and intercepted a scooter bearing registration number JK02W-7459.
During checking, police recovered 53 pouches of illicit liquor and nabbed the scooterist on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Mohan Lal, son of Manga Ram of Patoli.
The person was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to distribute among the young generation to make them addict, but his attempt was foiled by Domana police led by SHO Domana police station Inspector Rajinder Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma, SP Rural Rajiv Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
A case under FIR number 155/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
