POONCH, May 21: A bovine smuggler was arrested and four animals were rescued from him by police at Panar bridge on Mughal Road today.
Reports said a police party headed by SI Amrit Katoch, Incharge Police Post, Behramgalla on the directions of SSP Poonch JS Johar intercepted a bovine smuggler carrying four animals towards Kashmir on foot.
The bovine smuggler namely Ghulam Ahmed, son of Munawar Hussain, resident of Sailan Surankote was arrested and case FIR number 98/2015 under Section 188, 353 RPC 3 PCA was registered at Police Station Surankote.
