SMS College of Education celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, May 21: Sant Mela Singh (SMS) College of Education, Digiana, Jammu celebrated Annual Day in its College premises, here today.
Mahant Manjit Singh, Sole Trustee was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest followed by Ganesh Vandana.
Dr Kiran Luthra, Principal of the College presented THE Annual Report highlighting various curricular and co-curricular activities of the College.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students comprising of Gidda, Dogri dance, Kashmiri dance, Rajasthani folk dance, Punjabi Songs and Solo Songs.
Prize distribution was also held on the occasion, wherein talented and meritorious students of the College were felicitated with mementos and other prizes.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Chairman of the College, Prof Anmol Singh.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Netar Singh, Principal Sant Rocha Singh College, Dr SPS Dutta, Prof Emeritus, University of Jammu and S Prem Singh, retired Chief Conservator of Forests.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Prof Charanjeet Kour.
