SAMBA, May 21: Vijaypur zone outclassed Samba zone by three goals to two in a tough contest to win the title trophy of the District Level Inter-School Under-17 boys’ football Championship, here today.
Joginder Singh, SSP Samba was the chief guest on the occasion, while the Championship was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the overall supervision of Subash Chander Bharadwaj, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rakesh Verma, B D Sharma, Vijay Singh Slathia, Pardeep Singh and Raghubir Singh.
The matches were officiated by Anirudh Singh, Dildar Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Roopa Sambyal, Rekha Sambyal, Sandeep Singh, Purab Chander, Shashi Bala, Suhsma Rani and others.
