UDHAMPUR, May 22: Seventeen passengers, including women and minors, were injured when a minibus met with an accident due to failure of brakes, here this evening.
The accident took place at Bharta near Round Mail and the minibus, bearing registration number JK14C-7147, was on way from Udhampur to Nagrota via Dhar Road. As the driver failed to control the minibus because of brakes failure, he rammed it into a roadside hillock.
On getting information, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to district Hospital Udhampur. They were identified as
