JAMMU, May 23: Tiny Tots Hr Secondary School, Roop Nagar held its 15th Annual Day function with full enthusiasm in the school auditorium, here.
Choudhary Zulfqar Ali, Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution and Tribal Affairs was the chief guest for the Senior wing on this occasion, while MLC, Surinder Chaudhary was the chief guest for the Junior wing.
The programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries.
A unique show where students showcased their talent on themes and folk dances held the audience spell-bound.
The welcome song addressing the parents depicting their role in the lives of the children was highly appreciated.
Young girls performing a dance on the theme “Save Girl Child” gathered the attention of the audience giving a massage to stop female foeticide.
Students of primary wing showcased their talent and confidence on the theme “Stop Child Labour”.
This was followed by Dance Drama on “Anti-Drugs” which conveyed a strong message to society about the ill-effects of Drugs. The mood changed a bit when students presented a beautiful dance performance on Gujarati Dandiya.
The Culture and heritage of Ladhakh was beautifully displayed in a dance performance. Tiny Tots Star Kids Nursery also showed their talents on their favourite rhymes.
The Principal of the school, Deepali Handa highlighted the achievements of the school. Prominent Social Activist Sneh Bali, Chairperson of Handa College of Education and Tiny Tots Group of School, Veena Handa and Directors Deepak Handa and Dr Vikram Handa also presided over the function.
