DODA, May 24: Everest Bhalessa registered big win over Combine Bhaderwah by 60 runs in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 played at Sports Stadium, here today.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank, Natnoo Furnishing House Doda and Green Model Hr Secondary School Doda.
Earlier, after winning the toss and batting first, Everest Bhalessa scored a modest total of 104 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Arif Rather was the top scorer from Everest Bhalessa who scored 30 runs, while Irshad Ahmed contributed 21 runs. From Combine Bhaderwah Ishtiaq Rasool clinched 3 wicket,s while Touqeer Malik took 2 wickets
In reply, Combine Bhaderwah bundled out for a meagre total of 44 runs in 12.2 overs. Jatin was the highest scorer with 24 runs, while Raman Dutta contributed 6 runs. For Everest Bhalessa, Saleem scalped 5 important Wickets while Mubashir took 2 wickets. Saleem of Everest Bhalessa was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Sanjay Chouhan and Ayush Sharma as umpires, while Salinder Singh Bhaduria acted as the scorer.
