JAMMU, May 24: Mumbai Indians lifted the IPL trophy with a comprehensive 41-run win over Chennai Super Kings in the summit clash at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, here tonight.
A superb batting display by skipper Rohit Sharma (50) and opening batsman Lendl Simmons (68), coupled with a splendid bowling display by the trio of MJ McClenaghan 3/25, L Malinga 2/25 and Harbhajan Singh 2/36 guided the team to an emphatic win over strong rivals.
