JAMMU, May 26 : Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) today held a massive protest demonstration against the Modi Government and BJP for its utter failure in all fronts on completion of one year in the Government.
The PYC president Pranav Shagotra, PYC general secretary Rajveer Manhas, LYC presidents Jammu-Poonch & Udhampur-Doda Satish Sharma and Pankaj Basotra along with hundreds of Youth Congress activists across the State wearing suits holding banners and pamphlets in their hands amidst raising slogans against the Modi Govt assembled at Press Club here to registered their protest.
While addressing PYC activists and media personnel Mr Shagotra criticized the Modi Govt and described it as ` Suit-Boot Ki Sarkar’. He said that Modi Govt has totally failed during its one year tenure and is working in favour of Corporate Sector and is against the farmers and poor people. He said that Land Acquisition Bill brought recently is an example of its anti- farmer stance and favouring Corporate sector. He also lambasted the Govt for its failure to provide job opportunity to the educated youth. He criticized the Central Govt for its failure to provide relief to the flood affected people of J&K State.
Mr Shagotra said that instead of focusing on national interests, Mr Modi is busy in touring the foreign countries. In the tours he is misusing the public money. He said that PYC in future will hold protest across the State against the failure of Modi Govt and will fight for the cause of common people, especially the youth. The PYC activists also burnt the effigy of Modi Govt.
