SAMBA, May 26: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District Samba organized Inter School District Level Athletic Meet U/14, U/17yrs Boys & Girls under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Subash Chander Bhardwaj which was concluded here today with participation of 555 players.
District Development Commissioner Samba Sheetal Nanda was the chief guest on the occasion.
The DDC inaugurated the meet by flagging off 100mtr sprint race. She also awarded the medal and trophies to the winners and runners.
In inter School District Level Athletic Meet, overall u/17 (Girls) trophy was won by GHS Sarna, U/14 (Girls) was clinched by Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan and overall U/17 (Boys) went to Parveen Model School Supwal besides U/14 (Boys) was won by N V Dhalote.
The matches were officiated by Bhupinder Singh, Dildar Singh, Kulbir Singh, Purab Chander, Vinod Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Roopa Sambyal, Sushma Rani, Shashi Bala, Navjyoti Slathia, Chanchala Devi, Sh. Raj Singh Chib, Sudesh Sharma, Avtar Singh and Keshav Singh.
