REASI, May 26: Police arrested two persons and seized five litres of illicit liquor and 50 lt lahan today.
Reports said a police party headed by Zaffar Iqbal Nawaz, SDPO Arnas conducted raid at village Jij in Gabran area today. During raid in the houses two illicit liquor smugglers namely Kuldeep Singh, son of Krishan Singh and Avtar Singh, son of Billu, both residents of Jij Morah in Arnas were arrested. The police party also seized five lts of country made ( Desi) liquor and 50 litres of Lahan. Some lahan was also destroyed on the spot. The accused have been booked under case FIR No. 42/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act.
