UDHAMPUR, May 31: Pawan Gupta, Minister of State for IT and Finance, held a public darbar here today and listened to the grievances of general public for on spot redressal of the same.
The Minister issued directions to concerned officials for speedy implementations of various welfare schemes for benefit of poor and needy people.
A deputation led by Sarpanch Balwan Singh of Garnei demanded repairing of road from Washora to Marmar and Gari to Washora as well as construction of lanes and drains of their area. He also apprised the Minister about non-availability of Urdu teacher at Middle School, Upperly Garnai.
Another deputation from village Ritti, head by Puran Singh and Rajinder, complained about low voltage in the area. They also demanded construction of tractor road Sansar mohalla to Batta. Pt Bodh Raj had a few grievances and complaints against the Patwari who was allegedly acting in a biased manner while preparing cases of relief to the people hit by natural calamity.
On this occasion, Gupta told media personals that to develop Udhmapur as model town many step are being taken and its result will be visible very soon. He added that various welfare schemes are already under for welfare of people.
