POONCH, June 2: The police today arrested a wanted criminal who was evading arrest for the last over seven years.
Official sources said that a police party led by SHO Poonch, Jatinder Raina, arrested one Abdul Hamid, son of Mohd Ashraf, resident of Shahpur from a hideout in the same area today. He accused was wanted in case FIR No. 154/2008 under Sections 436/ 396/332 RPC by Poonch police. A local court had declared her as absconder.
