Madhya Pradesh registers win over Bangalore by 29 runs

DODA, June 5: Madhya Pradesh registered victory over Bangalore by 29 runs in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium here.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Madhya Pradesh set a target of 93 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in stipulated 10 overs. Saransh was the highest scorer with 39 runs while Prashant contributed with 29 runs.
From Bangalore side, Ashok and Mahesh scalped 3 wickets while Prem Ram took 2 wickets.
In reply, Bangalore team failed to chase the target and scored only 64 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 10 overs. Rajesh scored 15 runs and Vignesh made 11 runs.
From Madhya Pradesh side, Prashant was the pick-of the bowlers with 3 wickets, whereas Nishant claimed 1 wicket.
Prashant of Madhya Pradesh was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Sanjay Chouhan as umpires whereas Salinder Singh Bhaduria acted as scorer.
