RAJOURI, June 5: Thannamandi police seized a truck loaded with 12 bovine animals and arrested two persons in this connection last night.
Reports said that police party led by SHO Thannamandi under the supervision of DySP Aftikhar Talib intercepted a truck No. JK-11A/ 2388 at Manyal Gali and found 12 bovine animals loaded in it. The driver and his associate failed to produce any valid documents. The police seized the vehicle and arrested both of them. This vehicle was on way to Kashmir via Mughal Road.
The arrested persons were identified Mohd Raftar, son of Mohd Bashir resident of Haplot in Thannamandi and Mohd Maqbool, son of Raj Mohd of Kallar village in Rajouri.
