JAMMU, June 7: Career Abacus, Rehari centre awarded certificates and prizes to its meritorious students during a function held in the auditorium of Government Polytechnic College, Jammu.
Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East Constituency was the chief guest. Director Career Abacus Arvind Sharma, Centre Head Rehari, Atul Mahajan and other staff members were also present on the occasion.
A demo of little kids was conducted by the Shruti which left the audience spell bound with the speed and accuracy of the kids.
A magic show was also organized on the occasion, followed by dance item by the children.
About 108 stage completition certificates were awarded to the students of different stages of their Abacus programme called “Career Abacus Champ”.
The students who scored gold medals for scoring 100 per cent marks were Sahreen, Aditi Anand, Sarthak Gandotra, Rishika Gupta, Samia Zahur, Harsh Thusu and Kaushki Dubey.
Arvind Sharma, Director of the Institute explained the benefits of abacus to the audience and stressed upon the need to teach this skill to all the students in the age group of 5 to 13 years.
