JAMMU, June 8: Hindu Shiv Sena (HSS) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its State president Krishan Manhas.
During the meeting, the participants expressed resentment over step-motherly treatment being met out with the injured persons including police cops during recent protests by Sikh community in Jammu.
While speaking, Manhas demanded promotion and cash relief to SI Arun Sharma, cash relief to the barber who received bullet injury and other injured persons, who also became the victim of this protest.
“We are not against the relief provided to the Sikh family, who lost their son in this protest, but demand same treatment for other injured persons including barber”, he stated.
He also demanded compensation for the vehicle and cameras of media persons, which also got damaged in this protest.
Among others present were Ashok Jandial, vice president, Ashish Dogra, youth president, Suraj Sharma, city president, Rattan Lal, president Belicharana, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Darshan Singh, Ranjeet Singh, etc.
