JAMMU, June 9: Northern India’s first Autonomous, NBA and NAAC Accreditation Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), Amritsar has added many valuable feathers to its hat, as far as Campus Placements are concerned.
Many renowned companies including Ericsson, AON Hewitt, Interglobe Technologies, Finstem, Omega Maritime, Michigan Tyre, Earth Infrastructure, Haritdhara, Steria, TCS, UHG, RSystem, Cognizant, Talwar and Talwar Consultants, Data 64 and Wipro Technologies conducted Campus Placements for the students of B Tech, MCA and MBA final year.
Advocate Amit Sharma, Chairman, ACET said that now ACET’s students have crossed another landmark with considerably good number of placements at more than the package of INR 10 lakh per annum in various Defense forces like Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
He also said that ACET has also become a trend setter in Punjab for offering a platform for providing job opportunities to the students of BSc, BCom, BCA and BA of other colleges and till date more than 1000 students have been placed in top IT companies like HCL Comnet and Wipro Technologies.
Managing Director Dr Rajneesh Arora said ACET has center of excellence labs in 10 different technologies like Robotics and Industrial Automation, Solar Energy and Auditing, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Big Data, Cyber Loss and Cyber Hacking with the collaboration of Data 64, Android and Cloud Computing, Six Sigma (Green Belt) certification for B Tech (ME) students, Automobile and Aeromodelling.
Principal Dr VK Banga said that as there are numerous achievements still to achieve, ACET’ journey to success continues.
