JAMMU, June 9: An Amritsar based group, engaged in training young brains in computer and other electronic and electrical repair and maintenance-nik.com-has started its Jammu centre at Kachi Chawni near Telephone Exchange here today.
Mahant Manjit Singh of Dera Nangali Sahib in Poonch and Digiana Ashram in Jammu inaugurated the institute and ushered opportunities for the youth to become technically sound so that they may even start their own self employment units besides employing others too in the venture.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Manjit Singh hoped that the institute would guide the youth of Jammu properly so that they may use their talent in a better way.
On this occasion, Director nik.com,   Tejwinder Pal Singh Bamrah announced that the institute will start a 21 day basic course in computer assembling which will be just free of cost for the students of classes 10th and 10+2.
He said that duration of different courses, which the institute will start, will range from six months to one year where the institute will run certificate and diploma courses.
Bamrah further said that the institute will also run software courses besides courses on DTP, Tally etc.
