JAMMU, June 10: The traders of the Jammu West constituency held a protest rally, raised slogans against the State coalition Government and demanded resignation of the MLAs for the worst roads and  traffic problem in Jammu city, today.
Addressing the protesters Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement criticized the statement of the Deputy CM Dr Nirmal Singh and suggesting him not to make castles in the air. The multi storey parkings at Panjtirthi, Parade Ground and Bus Stand were approved and sanctioned by the previous Government and stated that BJP has no role in it.
He also alleged criminal silence of the Deputy Chief Minister on the NHAI and National Highway Road Tax Zazia on the people of the State, tourists, pilgrims and the common man. He demanded immediate stopping of road tax at Ban Nagrota toll plaza.
Dimple alleged that in spite of completion of the tendering of the PWD R&B for black topping of the city roads, the black topping has not been initiated in the Jammu city and West constituency.
Dimple gave 15 days ultimatum to PWD R&B, ERA, PHE, JMC for full black topping  of roads and opening of AIIMS in Jammur otherwise the agitation will be intensified for which the Government shall be responsible.
