JAMMU, June 10: J&K Government Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee has urged upon the State Government to remove the pay anomalies and resolve other pending demands of the employees.
During a meeting of the workers held under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, state president of the body, the members discussed the pending demands of the employees and workers.
Malik appealed the State Government to fulfill all the pending demands of the employees including removal of pay anomalies/disparity in clerical cadre.  The other demands highlighted in the meeting included release of pending 6% DA on the pattern of Central Government, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 pm to 2000 pm, dislocation allowance to all officials who are posted outside their home districts, regularization of daily rated /contractual employees and Anganwari workers, provision for change of designation/cadre and provision of transfer for employees of Civil Secretariat to outside and outside employees to Civil Secretariat.
