NEW DELHI, June 12: Amid profit-booking by speculators, aluminium futures fell 0.13 per cent to Rs 112.10 per kg even as the metal strengthened overseas.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July shed 15 paise, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 112.10 per kg, with a business turnover of 2 lots.
The metal for delivery in the current month also fell 10 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to trade at Rs 110.35 per kg in a turnover of 256 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in aluminium futures was mostly attributed to profit-booking by speculators, but a firming trend in copper and other base metals overseas capped the losses. (PTI)
