JAMMU, June 12: Tennis player of Jammu and Kashmir Prinkle Singh after defeating her rival in the semis registered berth in the final of U-16 All India National Series at Ahmedabad.
In the semis, Prinkle Singh defeated Shivani Ingle of Maharashtra by 7-5 and 6-4 sets.
Earlier, in quarter final, Prinkle Singh smashed Sarah Dev of Punjab by 6-1, 0-6 and 6-1. In pre quarter final, Prinkle Singh defeated Bhaktiparwan of Maharashtra by 6-1 and 6-0 sets.
In doubles event, Prinkle Singh along her partner Vaidhya of Gujarat remains lost to Shivani Ingle of Maharashtra and Rashmica of Bangalore by 1-6 and 0-6 sets and remained runner-up.
