JAMMU, June 15: A mason allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at village Malhori Jighar area in Nagrota.
As per police sources, Girdhari Lal, son of Ishwar Chand of Bhudwal, district Samba allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at village Malhori Jighar in Nagrota. The victim was mason by profession.
On getting information, police team led by SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
After completing legal formalities including autopsy, the body of the deceased will be handed over to family members for last rites tomorrow.
A case in this regard has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
