Suspended DFO reinstated, all charges dropped

JAMMU, June 15: Principal Secretary, Department of Forest, Environment and Ecology, Rakesh Kumar Gupta today ordered reinstatement of Mohammad Rafi Khan, the then Incharge Divisional Forest Officer, Mahore Forest Division and dropped the charges leveled against him.
According to the order, the then Incharge DFO Mahore Forest Division, Mohammad Rafi Khan was placed under suspension in the month of August last year following complaints about shortfall and poor quality in various works executed in Mahore Forest Division.
Accordingly, an enquiry was ordered to be conducted by Roshan Jaggi, Chief Conservator of Forests. During the course of enquiry, all the allegations against Mohammad Rafi Khan were found to be incorrect.
Now, on the basis of the findings of the enquiry, Principal Secretary, Department of Forest, Environment and Ecology, Rakesh Kumar Gupta has dropped all the charges against Mohammad Rafi Khan and he has been reinstated forthwith treating the period of his suspension as on duty.
