Crude palm oil futures higher on spot demand

NEW DELHI, June 24:  Supported by a firming trend overseas and strong spot demand, crude palm oil rose by Rs 2.10 to Rs 448.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in July gained Rs 2.10, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 448.50 per 10 kg with a trading volume of 154 lots.
The oil for delivery in June went up by Re one, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 449 per 10 kg, with a business volume of 38 lots.
Analysts said positive global cues and strong demand at domestic spot market mainly influenced crude palm oil futures prices here. (PTI)
