Ateev, Arjun direct KC Sports to register victory over Street Warriors, enter into semis

JAMMU, June 26: Splendid inning of 102 runs off 61 balls by Ateev and 4 wickets haul by Arjun Chowdhary directed KC Sports to register 7 wickets victory over Street Warriors Cricket Club, Akhnoor and enter into the semis of the ongoing Summer Cup Akhnoor T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Singh Cricket Club at Government Higher Secondary School ground, Akhnoor today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Street Warriors put a target of 198 runs for 9 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Sumit Rajput was the top scorer with 65 runs, whereas Dilawar Singh and Sahil Mishra made 44 and 29 runs respectively.
From Little Flower School side, Arjun Chowdhary was pick of the bowler with 4 wickets including hat-trick, whileas Abhishek, Shubrat, Aakash and Amrit took one wicket apiece.
In reply, KC Sports chased the target in 19 overs for the loss of just 3 wickets. Ateev played some splendid shots and scored 102 runs in just 61 balls, where Amrit and Suryansh made 53 and 25 runs respectively.
For Street Warriors side, Deepak Singh scalped 3 wickets.
Ateev of KC Sports was declared as man of the match for his magnificent batting performance.
The match was officiated by Vikas Bali and Rajinder Sharma as umpires, whereas Jyoti Parkash maintained the scoreboard.
This tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh, President, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor.
